STEPHEN K. BOONE
graduated from the University of Florida in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and the University of Florida College of Law in 1983, AV rated. His community activities include Past President of the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce, Past Chairman of the Venice Foundation, and Past President of the Venice-Englewood Bar Association. He is currently President of the Venice Advisory Board for the Boys and Girls Club of Sarasota County. He is currently Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Manatee Community College, a volunteer judge for the Sarasota County Teen Court program, a member of the Venice-Nokomis Rotary Club, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Coalition to Support Assisted Living (CASL). Steve is also Past Chairman of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee “C” for the 12th Judicial Circuit, Past Board member of Venice Main Street, Inc., the Manatee Community College Foundation, Widowed Persons Services, and the South Sarasota County United Way. He is involved in various youth sports activities in Venice, including being a present and past coach and manager for boys and girls Little League baseball and softball. He is a member of the Florida Bar and has been admitted to practice before the Federal District Court, Middle District of Florida. He is a member of the American Bar Association, a charter member and founding President of the Venice-Englewood Bar Association, a member of the American Academy of Hospital Attorneys, and Florida Academy of Hospital Attorneys. He concentrates in the area of real estate, wills and trusts, business and corporate law, and health care law.
